General

What are the hours of customer service operation?
National Seniors Australia’s membership, insurance and travel consultants are available to take your call weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Our call centres do not currently operate on weekends.

Does anyone have access to my personal information?
National Seniors collects the personal information needed to provide membership services to you. Your information may be shared with organisations that also provide services to members of National Seniors. If you do not want your information used this way, would like access to your personal information, or would like to update any personal information we have collected from you, please contact us.

How does National Seniors give the over 50s a voice to government?
National Seniors' policy area have a close working relationship with government, opposition, and other political parties. We work with national, state and territory policy groups and our extensive network of state offices, branches and zone committees to determine issues of importance to senior Australians and to identify trends in ageing. We also play a central role in building relationships with a range of government departments, peak bodies and national associations in order to further develop practical solutions to address the needs of seniors and an ageing population.

What information do I need to log in to the website?
If you have never logged in to the National Seniors website, simply click on the Member Login at the top of any page and enter your membership number and password then click “Sign In”. Once you’re logged in you will be redirected to your profile page where you can access your membership details.

I’ve misplaced my password – what do I do?
If you have changed your password but misplaced it, please click on “Forgotten your password?”. To recover your password, simply enter your member number and an email with your login details will be sent to your registered email address. Note: If you have not supplied National Seniors with your current email address, this application will not work and you will need to contact our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

Are my online payments secure?
When purchasing from National Seniors Australia, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. Membership

Am I eligible to become a member of National Seniors Australia?
National Seniors Australia membership is open to any person who has an interest in seniors’ issues; is aged 50 years or over; or is a spouse / partner of a person who is 50 years or over. If you have any further questions about eligibility please call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

Why should I join National Seniors?
National Seniors is the leading over 50s organisation in Australia, representing the concerns of over 200,000 members to state and federal government, businesses and the broader community. Australians join National Seniors to be heard on issues that affect them, their family and friends. They also join in order to access a wide range of specialised benefits and services such as a dedicated travel agency, insurance, world class ageing research and a bi-monthly magazine. How do I become a member of National Seniors?
To become a member, you can join online, complete and return an application form by post or call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50 and join over the phone.

What membership terms are available?
National Seniors membership is available in one year, two year, three year and lifetime membership terms.

What is the cost of membership?
Membership of National Seniors starts from $40 for a one year single member and $50 for a one year joint membership. For more information about the membership fees, click here.

How long does it take to receive a membership card?
After processing your membership payment, it may take up to 14 business days for your new membership card to arrive by mail.

My name is incorrect on my National Seniors membership card. How do I correct it?
We apologise for the mistake on your National Seniors membership card. Please email us or call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50 and provide us with the correct spelling of your name. We will process your new membership card immediately.

How do I request a new membership card?
If you have lost or damaged your card and would like to receive a new one, please call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

Can I buy a gift membership?
Yes. To purchase a gift membership online, firstly ensure that you are not currently logged in to the National Seniors website. Proceed to the Gift Membership form and complete the form with the recipient’s information. Continue the joining process to the Payment Screen and select either “Gift – 1 year – Single Membership” or “Gift – 1 Year – Joint Membership” according to how many people you are buying the gift membership for. Ensure that you enter your name in the “Gifted By” field, complete the payment details and click “Submit”. If you require assistance or would like to purchase your gift membership over the phone please call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

Can I have multiple email addresses registered with National Seniors?
Unfortunately National Seniors are unable to register multiple email addresses to a membership at this time. If you have changed your email address please change your details online or contact us.

I am moving and need to change my address.
If you have moved or are moving, please email us or call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

I don’t have a computer – how do I access my benefits?
If you don’t have access to a computer, we can send you a small booklet containing the highlights of our Member Benefits Program. Please note that not all benefits are included in this booklet and at this time we are unable to print and mail individual benefits on behalf of our members.

Are there plans to expand the Member Benefits Program?
National Seniors are always looking for new ways to improve their membership offering and bring members more value. Your feedback is important and we will continue to improve our Member Benefits Program with your help. Send us your feedback.
