“I believe the Foundation Trust fills an important role in the supply of information on matters affecting seniors.” Donor, New South Wales

Improving Quality of Life

Health, financial circumstances and other factors impact a person’s quality of life. The National Seniors Foundation Trust has developed many programs to help seniors maintain high standards. In 2001, the Foundation Trust partnered nationally with the Australian Prostate Cancer Collaboration to address the lag in research into prostate cancer. This partnership continues today.

Recognising Seniors

In honour of late founding Chairman Mr Bert Martin, awards are presented by the Foundation Trust to seniors. Known as the Bert Martin Awards, these awards are presented in appreciation for donations of $1,000 or more from National Seniors branches and supporters. They are also presented in recognition of an individual having made a significant contribution to the senior community.
