Security Policy

When purchasing from National Seniors Australia, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.

What information do we collect?
National Seniors Australia collects your name and email address in order to send you opportunities to participate in our campaigns. You can ask to stop receiving these emails or change your details at any time by replying to the email with ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject line, or you can contact us.

If you send an email to National Seniors or give us information over the phone, we may retain this in order to respond to your enquiry.

Access to personal information is restricted to National Seniors employees who need to know that information in order to run and improve our campaigns. All individuals with access to data are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

How will we use your personal information?
Your personal details will be used to make petition submissions to third parties, where you have signed the petition and the third party is a target of the campaign to which the petition relates.

We do not pass on your contact details and your name is used in aggregate form with other petition supporters.

We may use your personal information to send marketing communications relating to National Seniors and our campaigns, which we think may be of interest to you.

Personal data submitted on the website may also be used to send you general (non-marketing) communications and email notifications which you have specifically requested.
